We are seeking a
Data Modeler
with
strong hands-on experience in developing Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models
in
transactional data processing . Candidate
must have experience in developing large scale data models
that fits multiple lines of business. The work will involve
developing strategic state-of-the-art solutions using agile methodologies, micro services, and integration with many application/services .
Responsibilities:
Identify data and information needs for wholesale lending businessDeep
understanding of information and data architecture , keen eye in
business data and problem-solving solutions
on an enterprise levelDevelop conceptual, logical, physical models and metadata solutions
in
UML
using
Magic Draw
tool, and
validate the models
with spec by use case examplesWorking with product and technology teams to understand requirements and partnering with Engineering team to execute the modelsDesign and maintain blueprint
of the information
architecture, data integrations and controls
aligned to the renewed business strategyUnify data concepts across disparate
front office, credit risk, servicing, and reporting functionsDetermine
database structural requirements
by analyzing
client operations, applications, and data from existing systemsParticipate in
requirement engineering
and
working groups and collaborate with business leads, operations, SMEs, technologists, and governance teamsDefine, model, and rationalize target state solution, socialize with key stakeholders, and conduct walkthroughIncorporate data standards and implement governance modelDevelop data flows, ownership matrixes, mapping, and data lineageAssist in the
implementation
of
physical data model , contribute to the
system and operational design, carry out optimization for usability and performance
Qualifications:
8-10 years hand-on experience in Data Modeling and Data ArchitectureExtensive
experience in UML/relational/hierarchical and business data analysisExperience in UML is preferredExperience
Object Oriented development and python is a plusHands-on modeling expertise in OLTP modeling with tools such as ERwin, ERStudio or Magic Draw.Prefer data modelling experience using Magic Draw and Cameo. Utilize Code Engineering Sets to generate executable codeFinancial industry knowledge in Capital Markets/Banking is a plus but not requiredKnowledge of
Data Management methodologies involving architecture, modeling, storage, securityPrior experience in
data integration, interoperability, and data quality solutions .Analytical and problem solver, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceCertification in
Data Architecture / Modeling is a plus
