Our client is seeking an experienced
IT Project Manager
to lead and oversee IT projects with a strong focus on implementing and refining project management processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget while fostering a culture of process improvement and operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to project management.
IT Project Manager
Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, timelines, resources and deliverablesCoordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements and success criteriaManage project schedules, budgets and resource allocation to ensure timely and within-budget deliveryEstablish and enforce best practices for project documentation, reporting and communicationConduct regular process reviews and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectivenessLead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration and alignment with project goalsProvide guidance and support to team members, addressing issues and facilitating problem resolutionFoster a collaborative team environment and promote professional developmentIdentify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategiesMonitor project progress and address issues proactively to minimize impact on project objectivesServe as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones and deliverablesPrepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports and post-project evaluationsTrack and report on key performance indicators and project metrics
IT Project Manager
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a demonstrated track record of managing complex projectsProven experience in implementing and refining project management processes and methodologiesStrong knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)Excellent leadership, organizational and problem-solving skillsProficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello)Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
