Job Description: Network AnalystProject Overview:

The IT Network Services team is undertaking several digitization projects and work efforts in 2023, including but not limited to:

Digital Worker Connect (DW Connect)Communications Backbone ProjectCore IT infrastructureCloud migration activitiesUpgrade Operations Turrets & Call ManagerBAU activities including IT Switch Refresh and Patch ManagementJob Functions & Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise at the highest level for network planning, design, and optimization.Develop strategies and directions for network solutions using current and emerging technologies.Develop, implement, and enforce corporate policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with the company's strategic business objectives related to the Corporate Network.Translate business requirements into network or process designs.Plan and recommend network hardware, systems management software, and architecture.Build, configure, and maintain network switches, routers, load balancers, and various voice appliances.Monitor network performance, ensure capacity planning, and proactively assess and recommend improvements.Apply continuous improvement techniques to ensure the network infrastructure attains maximum performance, security, and availability.Ensure the network environment maintains appropriate recovery and redundancy, addressing any related issues.Prioritize network faults, diagnose, and resolve problems swiftly under pressure from impacted business groups.Provide design, implementation, and operational support for the Cisco VoIP telephony systems.Coordinate with sites to provide technician training for new hardware.Daily monitoring and management of IP network appliances.Develop and follow procedures to handle network fault events.Perform system-wide/cross-functional team management.Plan and manage small to large-scale projects.Maintain all documentation regarding network infrastructure.Solve highly technical and complex network-related issues.Skills:

Competent in networks, firewalls, routers, load balancers, Microsoft Windows, and Linux Operating System environments.Good knowledge of Cisco CUCM and VoIP administration and maintenance.Good knowledge of F5 LTM Load Balancer administration and maintenance.Expert knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud networking components.Expert knowledge of CISCO WLC environments including 5500, 2504, 9800 WLC.Expert knowledge in the design and implementation of highly complex networks.Expert knowledge of Cisco IOS, Nexus OS, Cisco switches, and routers.Expert knowledge of WANs, LANs, Internet, Intranets, and protocols.Expert knowledge of network standards and best practices found throughout both the public and private sectors.Ability to understand the risks of network maintenance outages and the consequences of such actions.Keep abreast of technological changes in the network and videoconferencing arena, maintaining technical focus while managing staffing and personnel-related issues.Education & Certifications:

Industry training and certifications directly correlating with infrastructure (e.g., CCNP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, F5 201/301).Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or related technical or business discipline.Minimum 5 years of quality technical experience (or a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience for non-degree holders).Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7.5-hour workday with a 0.5-hour unpaid lunchPaid for time worked only; there are no paid holidays, vacation, or sick daysOvertime is not permitted unless authorized in advance
