Infrastructure Engineer
for a
contract
assignment with one of our premier
financial services
clients in
Alpharetta, GA .
Responsibilities:Work within the group maintaining and developing InfrastructureDevelop and extend tools to maintain and monitor deployments.Assess, document, present, and execute project assignments.Evaluate and recommend commercial and open-source software.Automate complex processes.Escalation point of contact to answer system related questions.Train and Mentor team members, system administrators and operators.Provide production support.Requirements:
5+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux, strong understanding of Linux OS.BASH or other shell scripting knowledge5+ years of experience working with VERITAS NetBackup including Flex Appliances and Cloud Storage2+ years of Veritas IT Analytics experience including installation and administration3+ years of Quantum Tape Systems3+ years of understanding and working knowledge of fundamental Internet Protocols (e.g., DNS, HTTP, SSH, SMTP, FTP)Desirable:
Web/Internet Security experience is a plus.Configuration management experience (e.g., puppet, Git, Subversion.)CI/CD3+ years of hands-on Programming experience in Python.2+ years of Veritas Infoscale Clustering experience/knowledgedegree in Computer Science or a related field.
