CLEARED DevOps Engineer - Docker/KubernetesBestgate Engineering is seeking a DevOps Engineer to architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the Tools teams. This role involves automating, scripting, and developing features to bolster the monitoring and reporting activities of the Tools team.Required Skills/Experience:
Twenty+ years of experience as a Software or Systems Engineer.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in engineering will be considered.Proficiency in Linux system administration (file system manipulation, monitoring, logging, troubleshooting; adept with command line tools: ps, netstat, top, SSH, grep)Expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, including the automation and oversight of tools and processesSkilled in Kubernetes with a solid grasp of deployment, management, and configurationKnowledgeable in Docker (deployment, management, and configuration)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in engineering will be considered.Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/PolyRequired:
Proficiency in cloud computing (AWS)Familiarity with scripting languages (bash, Python, JavaScript, etc.)Background in building and managing VMs (preferably with one of the customer’s corporate solutions)Desired:
