We're hiring Software Developers in Reston VA. As part of the Agile software development team, this role develops solutions mainly using frontend technologies, such as Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript with a good understanding of backend services and data sources. The ideal candidate is familiar with the Agile software development life cycle from user requirement generation to automated tests and deployment.
Due to the nature of the role, only U.S. Citizens may be considered.
Role and Responsibilities
Design, develop and deliver modern secure software applications to enable the intel missionTroubleshoot defects, deduce root cause, and implement mechanisms to prevent reoccurrence and mitigate offshoot issuesAnalyze and test programs and products before formal launchCollaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirementsEfficiently divide and conquer software development tasks with other developersEnsure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private informationActively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactionsMinimum Qualifications
U.S. Citizen and must be able to obtain a TS Clearance3+ years of experience as Software Engineer developing distributed software applications using modern and open source technologies and frameworksExperience with frontend technologies, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, React, and AngularExperience with Linux, Git, Jira, Confluence, and ArtifactoryGood understanding and knowledge in API best practicesGood data modeling experience with relational and NoSQL databasesExperience in Agile development technologiesOutstanding collaboration and communication skills are essentialBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalentAdditional Qualifications
Experience in software development supporting DoD and/or ICExperience working with Eslint, Vuetify, Vue Composition, Vue Router, Pinia, TanStack Query, Axios, VitePress, and TyepDocExperience with frontend unit testing tools, such as Jest, Vitest, and JasmineExperience with Python and JavaExperience working with Webpack 5, Vite, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, Keycloak, OAuth2, JWT, etc.Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, ELB, etc.) and AzureFamiliar and used security and code quality tools like SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, and FortifyHas worked in a DevOps model and delivered code through CI/CD pipelinesExperience developing customized code for multiple projects simultaneously
