POSITION:
Behavior Technician - Mutiple Disabilities - West Fargo Public Schools
TERM:
9-month position following the school calendar, approximately 6.5 hours per day
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the classroom teacher and behavior specialist, the behavior technician supports students with daily instructional and non-instructional activities in order to provide skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols. The behavior technician supports teachers within the district's Special Education Department, particularly those at the elementary level.
QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Reliable and dependable attendanceAbility to develop positive working relationships with students, staff and the school communityAssociates Degree or higher preferredExperience working in an elementary school setting preferredExperience working with complex student behaviors preferred
SALARY : Depending on experience, position would follow the 2023-2024 Classified Salary Schedule which has not yet been posted. (Please refer to the 2022-2023 Classified Staff Salary Schedule for reference).
