We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience in Cisco and Aruba routing and switching, and expertise in Aruba EX and CX switches for 12 months contract position. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure based on business requirements and industry best practices.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco and Aruba switches and routers.
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability of network services.
Conduct network security assessments and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard the network against cyber threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new technology initiatives and resolve complex technical issues.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to network infrastructure and operational processes.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
8 to 10 years of experience in network engineering, with expertise in Cisco and Aruba routing and switching.
Hands-on experience with Aruba EX and CX switches is a must.
Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and VPNs.
Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and QoS.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Willingness to work onsite as needed.
