We use data collected from our highly connected systems to find problems before the customer does and to systematically eliminate the causes of downtime. The Tesla Service Engineering Infrastructure and Analytics team is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join the team developing the software that supports Tesla's service response to failures that occur in our fleet. You will build systems that ingests data and delivers the insights required to determine what is going wrong in the Tesla Energy fleet, and then how to fix those problems.

Responsibilities

Build custom services to deliver the data that powers insights into the health of the energy fleetBe able to deliver both large and small features, ensuring quality is consistent regardless of size and scope of workWork with other platform teams within Tesla, ensuring we are advocating for better interfaces wherever possibleContribute to the product roadmap, working closely with the teams that use our tools to constantly improve the effectiveness of the service teamRequirements

$104,000 - $348,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
