The Informatica Sr. ETL/Informatica Developer will be primarily responsible for developing and supporting the Informatica development team in the use of Informatica PowerCenter for the enterprise data warehouse.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop new ETL/Informatica and enhancements, and modify existing code using Informatica PowerCenter. Work independently to develop, configure, and unit test programs from specs (source to target mappings)Architect, design, and document ETL/Informatica solutions for projects estimate work effort and provide status of tasksProvide technical support for the administration and production support of InformaticaProvide troubleshooting oversight and operational supportCreate and maintain best practices and methodologies for ETL/Informatica developmentReview all work in design and code sessions for junior team membersPrepare documents that describe, and support code developedIdentify improvements to the data warehouse environment. Work with the team to implement these solutionsExperience working with complex SQLEscalate issues to the right party when requiredREQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (in order of level of need)
10+ years of hands-on experience in development, maintenance, and enhancements of Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and processes for a data warehouse10+ years of experience working closely with data architects, data analysts, and source application teams on ETL development efforts8+ years of leadership experience, managing and coordinating an Informatica teamExcellent analytical, organization, presentation, and facilitation skills; ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlinesKnowledge of testing tools and techniquesEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience
