Position Overview for the Business Intelligence Architect/Developer:The ideal candidate will have experience working with directly with stakeholders to deliver advanced analytics and reporting solutions.This position will work with the Business Intelligence team within the Business Innovation & Technology department. We are an award-winning, nationally recognized team that brings new and improved services to the community.The business intelligence solutions we build allow county staff to make data-driven decisions about their operations and services.
Required Skills for the Business Intelligence Architect/Developer:
Bachelor's degreeMinimum of five years' experience in a full-time data analytics role or equivalent using Microsoft technologies. Prefer a major in computer science, information systems, information technology, software engineering, or related field of study.Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on Azure and Power BIExperience developing and implementing data architecture within a cloud-based solution (ex Azure, Snowflake, AWS, GCP)Experience with Microsoft Azure including Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse AnalyticsExperience with SQL, SQL Server, and DAXStrong analytical and problem-solving skills balanced with a creative mindset
