You will code, test and debug new and existing applications as you implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to advanced technical expertise and experience, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical DayConfigure and build applications ensuring that the solution follows latest practices and industry standards for Salesforce, using modern design patterns and architectural principlesDevelop high quality, well documented and efficient code adhering to all applicable Prudential standardsthat stay aligned with platform vendor roadmap and directionDesign the business logic and integration patterns with Prudential Ecosystem, using modern integration, data, and security patternsWrite unit, integration tests and functional automation, researching problems discovered by quality assurance or product support, developing solutions to address the problemsBring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide input and coach team members and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-dayWork on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variablesThe Skills & Expertise You BringBachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fieldsAbility to coach others with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organizationExperience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)Experience with managing a team of FTEs direct reports including but not limited to goal setting, mentoring and performance calibrationKnowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's businessAbility to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challengesExcellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skillsAdvanced experience and/or expertise with several of the following:Apex, Lightning Component Development, Java Script, Java, REST/JSON and XML integrationsProcess automation such as Flow, Batch/Async ApexConfiguration and knowledge of the Sales/Service cloudconfiguration and administration of core capabilities, data model, Integrations, security, access controlFinancial Services Cloud/Service Cloud or Sales Cloud functional knowledge. Advanced flows, Platform Events, Large Data Volumes and performance optimization. Familiarity with security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature), SSL, web service proxies, firewall, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0Unit, interface and end user testingconcepts and tooling (functional & non-functional)Configuration and administration of core capabilities, data model, integrations, security, access controlWorking knowledge of AWS servicesPreferred qualifications:Knowledge of Vlocity/Omnistudio is huge plusCollaboration skills to work with business partners and agile teamsKnowledge of Bitbucket, DevOps automation tools & practicesExperience with Test-driven Development (TDD)Testing tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, SeleniumSalesforce and AWS certificationsFinancial/Insurance industry experience is a plusYoull Love Working Here Because You CanJoin a team and culture where your voice matters; where every day, your work transforms our experiences to make lives better.
