(Holiday/Red Days etc.).Must have 4+ years of actual experience, not looking for new graduatesMust be Michigan local to go onsite for collaborationQUALITY, well formatted, and ensuring there are little to no grammatical errorsVery SHARP technical skillsIMMACULATE communication and presentation skillsAuto industry preferred, not requiredR can be very helpful, but python experience is requiredMath background can also be very nice to haveKey Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Work as an integral member within the Cadillac Strategic Innovations and Analytics team to provide key data science components to support the development of retail strategy.Support Strategic Innovations and Analytics Manager by developing analytical solutions to improve business results.Pursues problem identification and impact across large vehicle populations, leveraging data mining, predictive modeling, simulation and visualization techniques to further enhance insight and internal performance optimizationPerform hands-on analysis, search pattern design, mining automation development and data reduction executionMentors others to develop analytical skill sets throughout the organizationMaintain the latest knowledge in software and hardware products or services, trends, and identify best solutions to meet business requirementsEstablish strong working relationship with peer teams to review requirements/problem areas and establish the appropriate statistical techniques to apply on available dataDrive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sourcesDevelop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation and communicate those to peer teamsAnalytics that support Complex Event Processing and Real-Time Event Processing in the context of Big DataActs as the subject matter expert for Data Analytics as it pertains both Predictive and Prescriptive analysis and ensure alignment with industry best practicesBasic Requirements
4 +years of experience using data to solve problems, answer questions, and create visualizations4 +years of experience in data quality analysis and data architecture4 +years of professional development experience4 +years of experience in Big Data technologies in Hadoop/Hive/Spark platform using Python/ScalaMaster's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Physics, Computer Science or other STEM fields preferred but will take bachelor's degree.Additional Info:At FastTek Global,
