Phoenix, AZ, 85007 (Onsite)3 MonthsW2 ContractJob Description:Position DescriptionThis position will be directly involved with the development and testing of Power Bi dashboards based on their Tableau counterparts. This position will work closely with the project manager, technical lead, and business analysts to solicit requirements from key stakeholders, which may include program users, administrative professionals, and subject matter experts. The position will engage with other software developers, quality assurance, and business intelligence resources to ensure that the customers' needs are at the forefront in the project. The role will be responsible for understanding Tableau dashboards and recreating the same or similar functionalities in Power BI.Skills RequiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsMeeting facilitation and requirements elicitation skillsManaging multiple dashboards or prioritiesExcellent documentation skills, including visual process or project artifactsTranslating customer needs into functional and nonfunctional requirementsExperience RequiredEliciting requirements for midsize to large projects Working with Power BI software and other data visualization toolsDesigning and building data visualizations with an understanding of the appropriate chart types to use highlight patterns in the dataExperience quantifying, tabulating, and analyzing large complex volumes of data to transform the data into actionable insightsUnderstanding Tableau and recreate features and functionality in Power BI modeling experience using a variety of regression and supervised and unsupervised learning techniques Azure DevOps, and is familiar with Jira, or other ticketing systemsFamiliarity with Google Suite tools and Office ProductsExperience PreferredExpert level in Power BIEducation RequiredBachelor's Degree plus Power BI Data Analyst professional certification AND at least 5 years working in Power BI.Additional InformationExpert level in Power BIBachelor's Degree plus Power BI Data Analyst professional certification AND at least 5 years working in Power BI.
