We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and providing technical guidance to a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of complex software systems.

Our client excels at delivering stable and reliable software solutions using Agile Software Development principles. These provide us the capability to deliver a quick turn-around using interactive applications and the integration of industry-standard software stacks.

Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of complex software systemsProvide technical guidance to the team to ensure software development best practices and standards are metWork with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new software systems and enhancements to existing systemsDesign and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutionsEnsure that software projects are completed on time and within budgetCollaborate with other teams to integrate software systems with other systems and platformsResearch and evaluate new software technologies and methodologies to improve software development processes and systemsMust Have's:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on software design, development, and implementationStrong leadership and team management skills with experience leading and managing software engineering teamsExtensive experience in software development using multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++Strong experience in software architecture and design, including the ability to design and implement complex software systemsExperience with Agile software development methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsActive TS/SCI-FSPPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and SparkExperience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
