The Opportunity

In preparation for upcoming opportunities, we are building a roster of licensed Mental Health Clinicians based in the Washington, DC (DMV) area. Candidates must have extensive experience working with survivors and/or perpetrators of domestic abuse and violence.

Required Skills and Experience:

At least five years of clinical mental health experience with current licensureA Master's or Doctorate-level degree in a mental health or human services disciplineDemonstrated skills in individual counseling and in family or group therapyAt least three years of experience delivering trauma-informed counselingAt least five years of experience working with domestic abuse survivors and/or perpetratorsYour application will stand out if you have...

Experience with multicultural populations, high-risk locations, or high-risk functionsExperience working with perpetrators of domestic violenceExperience supporting individuals and organizations in the aftermath of critical incidentsExperience in consulting on work-related stressSensitivity to cultural differences and beliefsExperience in providing training on topics related to domestic violence and abuseProficiency in at least one language other than English from this list: French, Spanish, Arabic
