We are seeking an experienced SAS Grid Administrator with in-depth knowledge of SAS Grid installation, configuration, and administration on Linux. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in managing SAS Multi-Tier Grid Architecture, handling annual license renewals, maintaining security compliance, and supporting the SAS platform's day-to-day operations. The role also requires proficiency in troubleshooting, scripting, and working with various analytic tools and databases.Responsibilities:Lead the installation and configuration process of the SAS Grid environment.Ensure a solid understanding of how Load Sharing Facility (LSF) integrates with SAS.Perform ongoing administration and operations of the SAS Multi-Tier Grid Architecture on Linux (RHEL 8).Manage annual SAS license renewals and ensure compliance with SAS security bulletins.Conduct monthly maintenance of the SAS platform, including renewing SSL certificates for the Web Tier.Address vulnerabilities on the SAS platform as identified in SAS security bulletins.Support periodic password change activities and manage IWA (Integrated Windows Authentication) by renewing Keytab files.Synchronize SAS Metadata users with Active Directory using AD Sync.Read and troubleshoot SAS Macros effectively to resolve issues quickly.Configure various SAS Data sources to connect with the SAS platform and optimize their performance.
Skills required:Extensive experience in SAS Grid installation ( SAS version 9.4 M8 ), configuration, and administration on Linux.Strong understanding of LSF integration with SAS.Proficiency in SAS platform security, license management, and SSL certificate renewal.Ability to troubleshoot SAS Macros and configure various SAS Data sources.Experience with cloud databases (Snowflake, AWS S3) and analytic tools (R/Python-Anaconda/DataFlux).Expertise in Shell scripting and using scheduling tools like AutoSys, BladeLogic, and Control-M.Familiarity with SAS Metadata management, IWA, AD Sync, and disaster recovery protocols.Fundamental knowledge of VIPs and Wide IPs (GTM and LTM) in SAS architecture.
