Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software integration engineer who shall be responsible for implementing a Zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) solution as part of an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for complex High Performance Computing Systems. The primary focus of this position is the automation of the installation, configuration and deployment of GOTS, COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.
RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience.A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.Required Skills:Experience with Linux CLIProficiency in shell scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processesExperience performing Linux System Administration tasks including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, packages, and librariesExperience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deploymentExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and JenkinsExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired Skills:General HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage componentsExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)This position is open for direct hires only.
