We are currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team. This position will be responsible for handling materials, pulling and putting away inventory, packaging products, and assembling orders for shipment. The role also involves working closely with other departments such as Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth operations.

Job Responsibilities

•Understand and follow procedures that comply with Company policies.

•Pull and put away materials to and from warehouses using scanner equipment/printer.

•Package products in accordance with customer and GK requirements.

•Fill orders with the correct parts and quantities.

•Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.

•Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib cranes.

•Perform cycle counts, turn shafts as needed, and perform inventory management tasks.

•Be aware of and use correct lifting techniques to safely handle materials, including lifting up to 70 lbs continuously.

•Work in compliance with ISO objectives, company safety rules, and the GK WAY program.

•Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve routine problems and support workplace initiatives.

•Willingness to work on equipment, including climbing ladders and crawling under objects if necessary.

Requirements

Job Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent.

•Minimum of one (1) year of work-related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

•Minimum of one (1) year of forklift operation experience.

•Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

•Strong attention to detail and good work ethic.

•Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. continuously.

•Ability to pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment.
