We're looking for a Data Engineer focused on the SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) Compliance Automation. They will play a critical role in ensuring that our company's financial reporting processes are accurate, secure, and in compliance with regulatory standards. This position involves designing and implementing automated systems that help maintain the integrity of financial data and ensure that all processes adhere to SOX requirements.

Responsibilities

Design and implement automated solutions to ensure compliance with SOX requirements, focusing on the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial dataDevelop and maintain scripts, workflows, and processes that automatically monitor, audit, and report on key financial controlsCollaborate with auditors and compliance teams to ensure that automated systems meet regulatory standards and facilitate efficient auditsBuild and manage data pipelines that collect, process, and store financial data from various systems, ensuring it meets SOX compliance requirementsImplement ETL processes that securely and efficiently transform raw data into usable formats for reporting and auditingEnsure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness throughout the data lifecycle, from ingestion to reportingOptimize data processing workflows to reduce latency, improve reliability, and minimize the risk of non-complianceLead initiatives to continuously improve the automation of compliance processes, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracyRequirements

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or ScalaExperience with data pipeline and ETL tools (e.g.Airflow)Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Vertica, MySQL) as well as NoSQL databasesExpertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and managing large-scale data environmentsExperience with data integration from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency and integrityExcellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with compliance, finance, and audit teamsExperience working in a financial or highly regulated industry is a strong plusCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

$80,000 - $258,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
