Job Description:
Deliver and configure network infrastructure equipment, services and solutions needed to support client networking systems and environments. Perform day-to-day field installation, configuration, service, preventive maintenance, and decommission of dedicated and shared data infrastructure such as computers, network equipment and/or other telecommunications and network devices.
Position Details:Hourly position based upon experience & skill levelContract with possible contract extension or hireStandard work hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am - 6:00pm (OT, may include nights and weekends)Location: Mainly will support sites in & around Seattle, WA, but will occasionally support Client sites throughout WA & OR.Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
Qualities:
Must be able to clearly communicate with the customers, General Contractors and other employees.Must be a responsible, reliable and dedicated.Has great communication skills.Install and trouble shoot cablingCan provide connectivity to user end devicesProvide layer 1 supportBasic telephony skills / knowledgeGood customer service and relationsRack and StackKnowledge on switches and routersVOIPWireless Access PointsExtend circuits from the mpoe through the riser system to devices in the MDF or IDF.Trouble shoot circuitsKnowledge of hyper terminal and puttyRenovationsSwitch UpgradesMemory InstallsVOIP upgradesLarge scale user relocations.Can work independently or with a team.Capable of taking instructions or leading a team giving instructionCompletes numerous tickets dailyRouting / Mapping out their route in the best order to complete all assigned work orders.Must have a personal smart phone with a hotspotReturns phone calls, text messages and emails in a timely mannerNeeds to know Word and ExcelOur benefits package includes:
