Additionally, you will collaborate on the design, development, testing and integration. Software Engineer SME : $170,000 to $200,000 annually.Pay commensurate with experience.Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Software Engineer SME Responsibilities Include:Providing expert guidance on software architecture and design best practices.Leading the development and implementation of complex software solutions.Reviewing and optimizing code to ensure high performance and maintainability.Mentoring and training junior developers on software engineering principles.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Conducting thorough analysis and troubleshooting of critical software issues.Ensuring compliance with industry standards and security protocols.Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.Staying current with the latest advancements in software engineering and emerging technologies.Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Software Engineer SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience10+ years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) required.Demonstrated experience developing with modern languages such as: Python, Ruby, Clojure, Java, Javascript, etc.Demonstrated experience developing and implementing software enhancements to mission systems in other Government agenciesDemonstrated experience integrating multiple applicationsExperience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problemsDemonstrated experience using workflow charts and diagramsDemonstrated experience building scalable solutions to mission problemsDemonstrated experience incorporating knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logicDemonstrated experience writing or contributing to end user instructions or manualsDemonstrated experience assigning, coordinating, and reviewing the work and activities of developer personnelDemonstrated experience using rapid prototyping and Agile based software development methodologiesDemonstrated experience developing innovative analytical solutionsDemonstrated experience using Java-based technologies to develop enterprise systemsDemonstrated research and development experience on the progression of ideas to production systemsSecurity+ CertificationExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka, SciPy, NumPy, PandasAWS API experienceMust pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
