Job Description
MATERIAL HANDLER
Job Purpose:
Material handlers are responsible for the receipt, put away, picking, and consolidation of all material entering the Sanmina stockroom. This position will require driving a 26 foot box truck to deliver product and must pass the DOT physical.
Nature of Duties:Cycle CountingCount, identify and verify partsPick, audit and deliver jobs to ProductionPackaging and shipping finished goodsComplete computer transactionsFill stock requisitions and KanbanDrive 26 foot box truck between Sanmina buildings and deliver shipments to customersThese are the primary responsibilities of the position - however, the qualified applicant may be asked to perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor for production necessity.
Education and Experience:
Must pass the DOT physical.Accuracy with numbersExcellent driving recordAbility to lift heavy itemsSelf motivatedGood attendanceSome computer skills helpfulPosition includes walking, bending, standing, sitting and some liftingExperience with Electronic Manufacturing helpful6 months -2 years of Stockroom experience
