POSITION SUMMARY :
Material Handler
We are looking for a Material Handler experienced in manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Texas. This position is responsible for handling raw materials needed for the operation of injection molding machines, issuing and/or staging of materials and the use of central material loading systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Support molding production material requirementsOperate rotating mixer and add raw plastic pellets as instructedOperate and feed used material into re-grindersCarry material up and down a movable step laddersMix, blend dry and color raw materials in accordance with bill of materialProviding material and paperwork to productionAssemble and disassemble drying equipment for material change oversMaintain a high level of cleanliness of material during production runsMaintaining inventory controlForklift operationReports to work on time and adheres to lunch and break schedulesComplete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by managementREQUIREMENTS:
Ability to use basic measurement toolsAbility to perform basic math functionsAbility to differentiate colorsAbility to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periodsAbility to walk and/or stand for extended periodsMust regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 poundsAbility to lift from floor to above the head, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds occasionally, throughout work shiftMust use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and armsAbility and willingness to change job functions at a moment's noticeMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English
