We are currently recruiting for an

SMT Machine Operator I (Temporary).

In this role, you will performs SMT machine placement and assembly of surface mounted components on Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). This is a Temporary 2nd shift position working 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (Monday-Friday).

What you will do in the position:

Load, calibrate, and operate SMT machineLoad SMT pick-and-place machine with components as outlined the documents providedCalibrate and align component pick-up locationsInitiate Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assemblyReport all assembly errors to the Lead and/or SupervisorUse the microscope to verify correct component placement and orientationManually align components prior to reflow within approved guidelinesApply solder paste to PCBs using the MPM 100 or MPM 2500 printing equipmentBake populated PCBs using the reflow ovenPerform post reflow inspection and touch-upMaintain general cleanliness of the SMT Production area and equipmentLead and/or Supervisor of all unresolved and/or potential problems which may affect the production schedule or quality of workWhat you will need to succeed in this position:

Excellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret assembly drawings, documents, and aides as requiredExcellent eye-hand coordination

Pay Range: Starting rate of $18.00/hour plus shift differential. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
