Spherion Staffing is looking for day shift Forklift Operators for our client, an industrial manufacturing company. Successful applicant will operate a powered industrial truck to perform various warehouse operations for loading, unloading, sorting and retrieving products and materials.
Monday-Friday 9:30 am-6 pm
Pay $22.25/hour
Responsibilities:-Load, unload, move and stack products using a forklift or other material handling equipment-Pick wrap, count, weigh, inventory or tag products and materials-Load outbound freight; receive inbound loads-Perform basic equipment repairs-Properly inspect trailer prior to loading or unloading freight-Properly stage material within designated areas-Correctly inspect material handling equipment and performs basic maintenance to ensure safe operations-Properly utilize a warehouse management system and maintains appropriate work documents-Maintain the cleanliness and order of work areas

Qualifications:-HS Diploma or GED Equivalent is preferred-Minimum of 12 months of forklift operation and general warehouse experience is required-Communicates well with Leadership, Team Members and other departments-Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse-Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 70 pounds
