Are you looking for an opportunity to develop enterprise solutions for data-centric and service-centric capabilities to empower the nation's most important development, test, and operations activities? Come join our Enterprise Data Applications and Platform team within the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) as a SETA contractor on the Geralt program.In this position as a DevOps Systems Engineer, you will:Institute automation improvements throughout the CI/CD pipeline including build, test, package and deployAnalyze developer recommendations for software enhancements across cloud, containers, and open-source solutions.Orchestrate software monitoring upgrades to ensure optimal performance and availability metric analysisFacilitate transfer from a multi-tenant platform environment into a tailorable single-tenant environment solutionAssess developer performance by analyzing contract deliverables, program management reviews, architecture designs, and demonstration/tests.Optimize pre-increment planning and iterative integration demos and tests via Agile software development best practicesQualifications
Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 8 to 10 years with PhDMust possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering or related STEM program.1 or more AWS certification in Operations or Development (or other cloud service provider, ie., Azure, OCI, GCP)10+ years' experience supporting Operational Systems or Development PlatformsExperience with Enterprise CI/CD tools (GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, etc)Experience working with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams in a dynamic environment to promote/implement the DevSecOps program throughout the organizationAbility to review and analyze vulnerability data with security teams to identify risks and prepare vulnerability reports for automation definition and establishing policyExperience w/ Git-based development workflows and toolsExperience w/ integrating automated testing in CI/CD pipelines
