Web Designer

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:• Perform HTML/ASPX website modifications to include links and graphic updates.• Create custom HTML/ASPX pages for use within DAIIS hosted IIS and SharePoint site collections.• Design images, icons, and banners to be utilized on DAIIS sites.• Provide web design support for integration into DAIIS SharePoint portals, Message processing System (MPS), and other DAIIS developed applications.• Provide UI/UX design expertise for creating user-centered designs for digital products, such as websites and software interfaces including enhancing user satisfaction and usability by improving the efficiency and aesthetics of products.• Create and respond to internal ticket entries to track status of web design tasks within one hour after notification.• Create detailed deployment requests to facilitate the movement of completed projects to the production environment.• Develop and maintain a standardized brand for DAIIS, throughout the assigned network web sites in accordance with the DAIIS Style Guide.• Establish discoverability by registering DAIIS sites with search engines.• Ensure DAIIS-hosted sites adhere to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.• Develop and incorporate mandatory fields of the DNI Audit.XML specification in accordance with ICS-500-27 Collection and Sharing of Audit Data.

Qualifications:• DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II/Intermediate certification• Five years of web site design experience• Three years of experience in development of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SWL, graphics creation, etc. with Photoshop, Illustrator (Adobe Creative Suite) or similar multimedia creation tools• Three years of experience with several of the following: ASPX, PHP, DHTML JavaScript, XML, Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server, Windows Server environments• Experience with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code• UI/UX design experience developing user-centered designs for websites and software interfaces, wireframing, prototyping, and conducting usability tests to improve and optimize the experience for users.• Web Design training certificate• Excellent communication skills• Ability to work collaboratively with the Customer and all team members (Developers, DBA, Testers, Requirement Manager)• Ability to continuously identify improvement opportunities.
