Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Cloud Data Engineer to work remotely for one of our clients. Our client is a rapidly growing international semiconductor and manufacturing company that bridges the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. Our client combines analog, digital, and software technologies into solutions that help drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world.
In this role, youll design and manage secure, scalable cloud data storage solutions. Youll handle Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, and Azure Private Link for integration. Youll also create zone-redundant and multi-region storage solutions on Azure and develop storage policies. Integrating Azure or AWS with SaaS platforms like Snowflake and DataIku for data pipelines and networking will be part of your job. Youll ensure secure integration between our clients data centers and cloud platforms, comply with data governance policies, and monitor and improve system performance. Experience with IaaS, PaaS, serverless solutions on Azure and AWS, and using Terraform, ARM, and CFT for infrastructure as code is essential.
Compensation:
$55/hr to $65/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Designing and implementing scalable and secure data storage solutions in the cloud, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility.
Experience building Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage and leverage Azure Private Link for secure integration.
Expertise in integrating Azure or AWS with SaaS data platforms as Snowflake, DataIku, Fivetran, DBT Cloud, etc. for data pipelines, networking, SSO integrations
Secure integration of tools and applications hosted between data centers and cloud platforms.
Ensuring compliance with data governance and security policies, including data encryption and access controls.
Monitoring cloud data systems' performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
Experience in deploying IaaS, PaaS, serverless solutions on Azure and AWS
Experience using terraform, ARM, CFT for IaC deployments on Azure and AWS null
