The Senior Salesforce Administrator is a technical maestro, specializing in crafting advanced Salesforce flows and leveraging all things declarative to streamline our platform's capabilities. With an emphasis on project leadership, this individual will spearhead major initiatives, mentor junior team members, and drive projects to success. The ideal candidate is not only an expert in flows and their best practices but is also adept at all declarative aspects of Salesforce. This role is a blend of hands-on engineering prowess and leadership within our Salesforce team.

While this position is remote, potential candidates should be aware that the majority of our customer base is located in Maryland, so we follow those working hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:• Technical Mastery: Design, develop, and deploy advanced Salesforce flows, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimal performance.• Holistic Business Insight: Demonstrate a keen understanding of business operations, ensuring that Salesforce configurations and changes are always aligned with business goals and sensitivities.• Leadership & Mentorship: Lead major Salesforce initiatives, guiding projects to completion while providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.• Declarative Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert on all declarative aspects of Salesforce, ensuring that the best solutions are in place for our user base.• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they align with company objectives, timelines, and standards.• Quality & Best Practices: Maintain a strong emphasis on the quality of work, ensuring all Salesforce configurations and customizations adhere to best practices.• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, technologies, and best practices to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Salesforce developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.• Training & Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning within the Salesforce team, sharing knowledge and insights on flows and other declarative tools.• Documentation: Ensure the maintenance of comprehensive documentation detailing system configurations, flow designs, and best practice guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Education & Experience• At least BS Degree (preferred)• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator• Salesforce.com Admin (ADM-201) certified, Advanced a plus• Able to demonstrate proven core Salesforce System Admin skills and knowledge, including user management, workflows/rules, page and custom object configuration, Site and Community administration.• Experience working with other Salesforce Administrators, Salesforce Developers and Salesforce Partners• Experienced with Service Cloud and Omni Channel• Experienced in implementing and running installed packages and/or connected apps• Experience with Salesforce Lightning and migrating from Classic• Experienced working in an Agile environment and with Agile tooling like Jira / Azure DevOps• Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.• Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality• Strong data management abilities• A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements• Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities• Self-motivated and able to work both with the team and independently while remote• Deep understanding of general CRM architecture as well as Salesforce process defaults and data structures• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills• Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization• Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, translate high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes• Solid understanding of and detailed experience with the Salesforce.com architecture• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.• Knowledge of JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar project management tool• Knowledge of Agile methodology, working in 2-week sprints, daily scrums, etc.• Areas of focus; Service Cloud, Omni-Channel, Communities, Case Management, Knowledge, CTI, SMS, Chat integration. Added plus: Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Einstein Analytics

This position will report to the AVP, CRM.
