Your JobMolex is looking for a Software Engineer in our Optical Test group. Molex is a global leader in electronic and optical solutions, providing innovative connectivity solutions for various industries and data center interconnections. As a Test Engineer in our Optical Solutions division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our cutting-edge high-speed optical transceivers.What You Will DoDevelop and maintain software for optical test systems using LabVIEW and/or PythonDesign and implement optical transceiver test procedures in connection with production testsCollaborate with hardware engineers to develop optical test strategies and optimize yields/throughputAnalyze test date and provide detailed reports to stakeholders for production test enhancementsTroubleshoot and resolve issues with excellent code and system debugging skillsStay updated with the latest trends and advancements in fiber optics, manufacturing, and automationWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fieldProven experience with LabVIEW and Python programming.Deep understanding of fiber optics and optical transceivers with hands on testing experiencesExperience with optical test equipment such as OSA, BERT, and Optical Power MeasurementsStrong problem solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skills for close collaboration with teamWhat Will Put You AheadAdvanced degree- Master's or PhDCertification for CLAD/CLDFor this role, we anticipate paying $150,000 - $180,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
