Sr. Network Engineer
Core Tasks
:
Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches.Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.Diagnose network connectivity problems.Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software.Install or replace network hubs, routers, and switches.Monitor network capacity and performance.Patch network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties.Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices.
Qualifications:
Master's degree AND 10 years' experience, ORBachelor's degree AND 12 years' experience, ORHigh school diploma and 15 years' experience as a Network EngineerExperience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OSAbility to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA)Active Cisco certification
