Position: Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Alpharetta, GADuration:12+ months
Responsibilities:Work within the group maintaining and developing Infrastructure:• Develop and extend tools to maintain and monitor deployments.• Assess, document, present, and execute project assignments.• Evaluate and recommend commercial and open-source software.• Automate complex processes.• Escalation point of contact to answer system related questions.• Train and Mentor team members, system administrators and operators.• Provide production support.
Requirements:• 5+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux, strong understanding of Linux OS.• 5+ years of experience working with VERITAS NetBackup.• 5+ years of experience working with VERITAS NetBackup Appliances• 3+ years of experience working with VERITAS IT Analytics• 3+ years of hands-on Programming experience in Python.• 3+ years of understanding and working knowledge of fundamental Internet Protocols (e.g., DNS, HTTP, SSH, SMTP, FTP).
Desirable:• VERITAS InfoScale Clustering Knowledge.• Configuration management experience (e.g., puppet, Git, Subversion.)• CI/CDdegree in Computer Science or a related field.
