Job Description:The Transactional Notifications team is looking for a Software Development Engineer, who will act as first level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with retail Notification applications. Your solutions will impact our customers directlyPrimary responsibilities:
Developing monitoring solutionsTroubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (JAVA, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT)Performing SQL queriesImproving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challengesResponsibilities also include:
Working alongside development on Client Corporate and Divisional Software projectsUpdating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems.Job Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is interested in a career in:Software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.Required Coding Skills: JAVA, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT.Other desired technical skills include Mason, Perl, Oracle SQL, UNIX/LINUX.A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 3-6 years of relevant experience is required.Story Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects:
Transaction notification sending push notification to Client customers in form of email, Alexa, ectTypical Day in the Role:
