Data Center Technician , working in

Server and Router Installation: Install, configure, and maintain servers and routers within the data center to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Cabling Infrastructure: Run, terminate, and manage fiber optic and copper cables, ensuring all connections are secure and organized according to industry standards.Cable Management: Apply padding and protective measures to cable connections, maintaining a neat and safe cabling environment.Auditing and Inventory Management: Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate inventory records, tracking serial numbers, receiving equipment, and ensuring all assets are properly documented.Incident and Change Management: Manage and respond to incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing change management procedures to minimize disruptions and improve system reliability.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, technical or vocational degreeAbility to install, support and test data cables - category 6 cable, fiber, twinax, various power cables and configuration of smart power stripsAbility to install, upgrade, and support hardware such as servers, network, storage - Cisco\HP\Dell\IBM servers, Cisco switches and routers, F5, Checkpoint, DellEMC, NetAppTechnical support and troubleshooting experienceIncident and change management experiencePreviously worked in a data center environment
