Job Description
Software Developer (SD) Level-2 (L2)The requirements listed define the Software Developer (SD) Level-2 (L2) responsibilities andtasking. The SD-L2 is an educated and qualified individual that is able to analyze detailedsystem designs and functional requirements for Minotaur Mission Systems (MMS). The SDshall use agile software development practices to plan, create, improve, maintain and test thecore and sensor software baselines. The SD-L2 shall support the Chief Integration Officer(CIO), the Software Lead, and other team members to accomplish software development andexecute the MMS software plans. The SD-L2 shall be able to receive guidance from seniorsoftware developers and support senior leadership with mission execution..The SD-L2 shall be qualified to execute the below functions with minimal guidance.1. Analyze software & hardware architectures, designs, and functional requirements foraircraft & surface mission systems.2. Develop system, subsystem and functional software requirements.3. Design, develop, test and implement MMS software and applications using tools such as:JAVA, Javascript, Python, SQL, OWL, CSS, C++, C#, Bootstrap, XML, HTML & WSD1L.4. Develop scripts, install applications and configure software systems to interface with theMMS sensors.5. Develop interfaces to external and internal systems and sensors for tooling, configuration,service updates and data recording.6. Support installation of software on a variety of MMS hardware configurations.7. Develop Graphical User Interface (GUI) designs and back-end sensor interfaces (fullstack).8. Develop and conduct unit, system and integration tests in labs and on asset includingcommand centers, surface platforms and on aircraft.9. Develop technical documentation related to software and GUI changes.10. Work with team members to ensure software usability and reliability.11. Execute frequent travel (up to 25%) to meet Government requirements.12. Obtain and Maintain at least a Secret clearance.13. Accept guidance from CIO, Senior Developers, and Mentors.14. Conduct code reviews and accept feedback from reviewers.15. Build visions, business relationships, and goals for future endeavors.

Qualifications & Requirements
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Bachelors degree with other suitable equivalent in certifications and/or experience. For Level-2 hire, requires a Masters Degree and/or 2-3 years of experience.
