We are currently seeking an experienced Senior ETL Developer / Data Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will use your knowledge of data warehousing and architecture to develop data pipelines and help automate our data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. You will design, develop, and implement ETL processes for enterprise-wide data warehouses supporting our Power BI user community. You will serve as our technical lead for large, complex data integration projects. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to determine the data requirements that are necessary to support our business processes. Responsibilities Include:
Develop and create transformation queries, views, and stored procedures for ETL processes, and process automations.Creates, executes, and documents unit test plans for ETL and data integration processes and programs.Work with the data analysis team to assess and troubleshoot potential data quality issues at key intake points such as validating control totals at intake.Perform problem assessment, resolution, and documentation in existing ETL packages, mapping, and workflows in production.Documents ETL data mappings, data dictionaries, processes, programs, and solutions as per established standards for data governance.Integrates ETL development with existing projects to maximize object reuse.Experience moving data between disparate database systems (DB2, MS SQL)Experience with MS SQL Server Management StudioAbility to read / modify / create SSIS integration packages.Experience with Microsoft Gateway ServicesExperience with data modeling and analysisAbility to use Microsoft Office Suite#IND1
Requirements
A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.6+ years designing, developing, testing and implementing enterprise ETL solutionsExcellent Data Analytics skills.Experience with data visualization using PowerBI or Cognos.Attention to detail.Excellent computer literacy skills.Ability to problem-solve under pressure.Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.Experience with Master Data Domains like PLM, PIM, CRM, is desirable.
This position is working in our Romeoville (IL) corporate office, working a hybrid work week of 3 days a week in office, 2 remote.
