Note: We are currently filling one opening that could be based out of various Beacon offices in Indiana with available office space. We will also strongly consider a telecommute arrangement as deemed appropriate. The employee must be willing to travel and be in person for training, meetings, etc.

Role

To provide business insight through the use of data, dashboards and reports to predict member behaviors and assess potential financial scenarios that guide the organization's strategies. To gather data, analyze data to discern strategies, ideas and business cases, and build high quality predication systems to ensure our products and services deliver on our mission to our members.

Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages the report request intake form where business intelligence report requests are generated. Writes reports using SQL script to complete requests within reporting deadlines that in turn assist the end user with operations, staffing, product pricing, policy development, and strategic decisions.Creates the data visualizations needed to deliver key conclusions for comprehensive business recommendations and performance tracking to key stakeholders in the credit union. This includes dashboards, graphs, charts and other data visualizations that are available in the business intelligence platform.Promotes the utilization of technical services to resolve business issues within the enterprise project management process. Provides technical support on business intelligence projects.Recommends and implements improvements to existing business intelligence analyses, data interpretation, and other process-related areas.Serves as a point of contact to employees as it relates to reporting and displaying credit union data.Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

One to three years of similar or related experience

Bachelor's degree in business analytics, computer science or a related field

Strong technical knowledge of data visualization/analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Domo preferred

Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills

Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills

Ability to use logic and critical thinking to address issues efficiently and effectively

Ability to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making

Standard position hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
