What makes you unique is awesome, and can be used to help others.Organization DescriptionCurrently, we are a group of 3 compassionate and cool women (men are welcome to join us, though) providing individual counseling services to adults in Philomath, Oregon. We specialize in trauma/PTSD, relationship issues, ADHD, depression, and anxiety, but are open to expanding to include issues that a new team member has experience in treating. We accept insurance and private-pay clients.Position DescriptionSessions are a mix of in-person and online. Two days per week would be in the office. Online sessions would be done at home. The hours are flexible, and could include typical business hours and/or evenings and weekends, depending on employee preference and office space availability. Hours would be consistent week-to-week, but could be changed if desired.Hours are about 25-30 client contact hours per week, with additional paid administrative time.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDiagnosing client mental and emotional disordersCounseling individual adult clients, with the possibility of adding couples, families, and children, dependent on the applicant’s area of experience and expertiseEvaluating clients through conversations, interviews, and observations to determine referrals neededDeveloping and implementing a treatment plan that may include counseling, medication, or other servicesRequirementsMaster’s degree in counseling psychology, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related mental health field, from a school accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP)Active Oregon State Board registration as an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)At least 2 years of direct client counseling experienceSuperb written and spoken communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and community resourcesExcellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritizeSelf-directed and self-motivated; comfortable working independentlyExcellent at building personal relationships and dedicated to helping othersEmpathetic and supportiveProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Google Apps, online video platforms, and electronic health record systemsBenefitsFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFlex Spending Account for medical costsPaid time offPaid holidaysPaid administrative timeProfessional development assistanceRetirement plan matching
