Description

The Demand/Supply Analyst will be providing key analysis, reporting, and gap identification in the demand forecasting and supply planning areas of supply chain. The Demand/Supply Analyst will be responsible for facilitating a rolled-up demand/forecasting view for the Honeyville distribution segment, using both quantitative and qualitative approaches in the development of the forecast and associated forecast metrics. The Demand/Supply Analyst will partner with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Inventory teams to provide visibility/analytics with FG Inventory level recommendations, safety stocks/buffers and associated inventory metrics. This role will partner with the Sales & Operations Planning leader with the implementation of S&OP within the business & other leaders across the organization to support and implement high-quality data driven decisions.

Core Responsibilities:Demand Planning/Forecasting - Use and maintain data from the ERP toolset to generate a monthly forecast for the Distribution business. Reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing rolled up forecast data, developing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results.Supply Planning - Partnering with Purchasing & Inventory teams provide analytics around inventory levels, opportunities with stocking levels improvements and safety stock recommendations based on demand plan outlook.Identify the root causes of FG out-of-stocks, recommend solutions through the collection & analysis of data/associated processes to meet business OTIF goals.S&OP - Partner with the Sales & Operations Planning leader with the implementation of S&OP across the 2 business segments. Lead the development of a rolling 3-12-month demand plan at a rolled up global view & regional views by product category/item levelCollaborates with the sales team to conduct bi-weekly demand review meetings by category.Works with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company and industry demand data to drive directional demand plans.Coordinates with the Supply Chain group with regards to region-based demand forecasting & supply/inventory planningUtilize forecast accuracy metric for volume and mix to improve future forecast and identifying root cause issues for significant forecast variances.Focus on product/SKU segmentation to ensure proper prioritization of the forecast.S&OP Metrics/Data Analysis and KPI review on a monthly cycle to drive improvement.Manage and maintain S&OP TemplatesOther ad hoc requests as requested by Leadership.Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong organizational skills and technical aptitude.Strong problem assessment and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in MS Office applications. Advanced level of experience using PowerPoint and Excel with experience using VLOOKUP, Index Match, Advanced conditional formatting, Pivot tables for data mining.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast/supply process.Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a business-related area.2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain as Demand Planning/Supply Planning Analyst role.1-3 years S&OP or SIOP experience in an analyst role is a plus.Background in a Consumer Products and/or food distribution would be beneficial.
