Drives incident resolution for issues experienced in customer environments.Contributes to the diagnoses, troubleshooting and resolution of incidents related to Cisco products, services or solutions.Escalates complex issues to Tier 3 when required for incident and problem resolution.Provides customer updates or answers for products, services or solutions questions for the 5G Infrastructure.Creates or updates, and delivers problem resolution, project collateral and/or knowledge transfer.Contributes to user level documentation for resolving technical problems found in products and solutions and supports customer Knowledge TransferEngages and drives appropriate resources for escalations.Maintains accurate documentation in incident and knowledge management systems.Ensures case management guidelines are followed.Effectively communicates (verbal and written) with the customer and Cisco stakeholders on status and progress of service requests

Responsibilities:

Performs incident detection, triage, and remediation of medium complexity network incidents.Initiate incident escalation as required for remediation.Contribute to troubleshooting documentation, incident handling and help guides.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Network Engineer provides engineering services for network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot LAN and WAN service issues on Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platformsConfiguration of switching platforms, Cisco 3750x, 9200 and 9300, Cisco Nexus, FortiswitchConfiguration of routing platforms, Cisco ASR and ISR, Fortigate, MerakiInstallation of network hardwareActivation of leased WAN circuitsParticipate in daily team meetings and various project meetingsCreate and update network documentationCreate and review change scriptsWork with security team to mitigate active threatsEducation & Experience

Required-Associates' degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent technical trainingActive CCNA requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience working in Information Systems, preferably in the healthcare industryMinimum of 3 years of hands on networking experience with Cisco projectsMinimum of 3 years of SD-WAN experienceExperience troubleshooting and configuring LAN Infrastructures, STP, Ether-channel/Port Channel configuration, Dot1.Q Trunking, VTP, 802.1x, DHCP, DACLsExperience troubleshooting WAN infrastructures, VRFs, routing protocols, IP ACLs, leased circuitsExperience troubleshooting nd TACACS+Experience designing IP SchemesExperience troubleshooting 802.11 wireless issuesExperience troubleshooting client and network issuesExperience configuring SNMP monitoring and loggingKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
