Osborne is opening its first temporary transitional housing assistance and reentry program, The Fulton Community Reentry Center (Fulton). Fulton will provide 140 beds of transitional reentry housing to formerly incarcerated men who would otherwise be homeless after discharge from a correctional facility. Fulton will also provide onsite reentry services, including case management, benefits enrollment, employment, health, and workforce development. The facility operates 365 days on a 24-hour basis daily, including evening and weekend hours.
We are seeking a full-time licensed LCSW Senior Social Worker. The Senior Social Worker will provide direct services to clients, including engagement, assessment, service plan development and monitoring, referral, advocacy, therapeutic counseling, reassessment, exit summaries, and staff training. This position reports to the Director of Social Services of Fulton Community Reentry Center.
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $94,000 annually
Requirements
Essential Duties:
Coordinate client services with mental health, medical, employment, educational, and other social service providersReview and sign off on assessments, including, but not limited to, psycho-social assessmentsSupervise the Case Management Department, including quality control of services and documentationManage a small caseload for a diverse client populationProvide clinical groups and individual sessions as needed, with a focus on addressing the trauma of incarcerationMonitor and document all resident progress toward service plan goalsDocument all interactions with, or on behalf of clientsMaintain familiarity with program resources and contacts available on- and off-siteCommunicate and collaborate with the client support team and service providers to enhance engagement and ensure the quality of serviceReport directly to the Director of Social Services for supervisionDeliver professional development training to other staff, including how to facilitate various groups and servicesComplete program reportsAttend assigned trainingIn person attendance is required to collaborate with coworkersPerform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work requiredNew York State LCSW certification requiredTwo years of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications:
SIFI certifiedExperience working with older adults and/or individuals with a history of legal system involvementKey Competencies:
Strong understanding of Trauma-Informed CareMust have the flexibility to work some evenings and occasional weekends, as neededExcellent and demonstrated writing abilityAbility to travel locallyBilingual English/Spanish is a plusKnowledge of DHS CARES system, Google Suite, and database management skillsKnowledge of community resourcesAbility to solve problems, make decisions, resolve conflicts, and listenAble to deal calmly in crisis situations and handle multiple tasks effectively under pressureEffective at working collaboratively well with diverse groupsStrong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and efficientEngaging personality and detail-oriented skills are essentialStrong oral and written communication, time management, and organizational skills are necessaryEffective leadership skills
