Fully Remote . Ideally looking for applicants with solid experience in
Data Engineer
and extensive experience with
GCP, AWS, Azure, Python, SQL, and Microsoft Office.
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Must-haves:
Be able to translate data requirements into business processes and reverse engineer business processes into data requirementsExperience manipulating and pulling data in GCP preferred (can be AWS or Azure)Experience scripting and coding in Python and SQLAdvanced expert database handling and experience with data manipulation tools (SQL and variants)Proficient in MS suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Plusses
Knowledge of scientific dataRelevant scientific industry experienceLeadership skills needed to successfully promote ideas, coordinate work activities, and plan deliverables within a project team
Day-to-Day:
The client is looking for a Data Engineer to handle multiple activities in a team supporting diverse NA scientific data needs. This individual will perform data architecture, data development & design, manage data quality, reference and master data, and integrate data while ensuring effective data governance. On a day-to-day basis, you will engage in data modeling and data audit, design detailed data solutions, define rules, create hierarchies and affiliations, distribute reference and master data, as well as profile, analyze, and assess data quality. You will be collaborating with Business and Data Quality teams in Paris to design data quality management procedures, clean and correct data quality defects, and establish effective data governance practices.

Pay Details:
$53.00 to $57.00 per hour
