Position Responsibilities:Leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Leads development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software systemDevelops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are metProvides technical leadership for software projects and leads software supplier management activitiesLeads development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metricsPlans, executes and documents software research and development projectsServes as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulationsTracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standardsWorks under minimal directionWhat Makes BI&A Different:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD 4 years' related work experience, Master 7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraphBachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree7 years of experience designing and developing software for a real time or non-real-time systemExperience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C, C , and MATLABExperience using GitlabExperience with Agile development methodologiesDesired Qualifications:
9 years of experience designing and developing software for a real time or non-real-time systemExperience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain (Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc)
Telework Availability:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Summary Pay Range:
