Job Title: Business AnalystClearance Required: DHS Public TrustWork Location: Hybrid; onsite 1-2 days a week at client site in Arlington, VAAlpha Omega is seeking a qualified Business Analyst to support an IT portfolio within a PMO for one of our clients.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate directly with Product Management, consisting of client leadership, the Release Train Engineer, designers, and additional Business AnalystsDecompose and document large initiatives into smaller features and user storiesWrite user stories that clearly describe the desired business outcome and contain non-prescriptive - but testable - Acceptance Criteria that enables teams to define the best solutionAssist the Product Management team in prioritization of the Program BacklogPresent documented features and user stories to stakeholders for feedback.Suggest product improvements or enhancements to increase end-user satisfactionFacilitate and lead meetings with various internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor's degree in business or an IT related field, which can be substituted for technical certifications or relevant experience

Skills and Experience:3-5 Years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product OwnerKnowledge of various agile business analysis techniques including interviewing, brainstorming, problem discovery, and MVP identificationExperience collaborating with stakeholders at varied levelsExperience in supporting business and project teams in translating complex business needs into user storiesAbility to test user stories against acceptance criteriaExcellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to ask probing questions to business team membersAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectivelyExperience using JIRA and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in an environment leveraging the SAFe frameworkActive or recent previous DHS experience HIGHLY desiredAt least 1 year of experience in Product Management and/or Product DevelopmentProven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindsetExpertise in transforming and building end-to-end environments using DevOps to integrate, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and operate multiple systems

Required Certifications:Certified Product Owner (or Certified Scrum Master)

Preferred Certifications:Advanced Certified Scrum Product OwnerSAFe Product Owner / Product Manager
