We are currently in search of an experienced

Addiction Counselor

for our Baltimore, MD location. The Addiction Counselor I position at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all of its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") is held by someone who is innovative and committed to learning and developing their counseling skill, working and collaborating with an innovative, inter-disciplinary team. This position requires someone who is invested in patient care and brings a solution-focused attitude and outlook.

Responsibilities

Provides case management services which support a positive treatment outcomeServes as therapist in OTP and continued care groups, as well as provide individual therapy as needed for SUD and/or mental health disordersOrganizes and makes educational presentations related to behavioral health and recoveryDevelop patient-centered treatment plans based on results from the screening tools and bio psychosocial assessmentCollaborates with medical staff and treatment team as a wholeConsults with family members and referral sources in order to coordinate patient careEnsures adequate case management services are identified and addressedResponsible for maintaining electronic health records which include documentation of treatment activity and progressEnsures that patient records are accurate, comprehensive and meets regulatory standardsQualifications

Strong clinical, verbal, and writing skillsIs engaging with patients, while promoting and maintaining accountabilityFlexible and creative team playerVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a program that will grow and expand over the next several yearsMinimum of 2 years' experience working in the SUD field. Group treatment experience preferred, but not requiredExperience and comfort working with an electronic medical recordKnowledgeable and well-versed in various recovery modalities, including SMART Recovery, Women for Sobriety, 12-Step, Recovery Dharma, Harm Reduction, etcIf disclosed that the staff member is in recovery from a substance use disorder a minimum of three years of continuous sobriety is required - five years is preferredLicenses and Other Required Credentials:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $25 a hour to $38 a hour. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, licensure, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
