Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer for a financial client in San Antonio, TX. This role involves a mix of monitoring, analyzing, and improving system designs, as well as handling escalations and collaborating with engineering teams to implement fixes and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Analysis: Using tools like DataDog to monitor systems and identify issues.
Code Review & Remediation: Working with engineers to review Python code and address any problems.
Escalation Management: Engaging with on-call support for critical issues (P1 or P2).
Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement, designing temporary fixes, and ensuring proper documentation and processes are followed.

Data Analysis & Machine Learning: Databricks, Python
Data Storage & Processing: Azure Data Lake, Synapse AWS Services: SNS, SQS, Elastic Load Balancer, Lambda, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, ECR, EKS
Operating Systems: Linux OS, Windows OS null
