Travel: Yes10%Many of our business users are located in Ohio. So, the team may travel on occasion to work with business users.

The Parts Applications unit is responsible to maintain and support system in the area of Parts Purchasing, Parts Invoice Balancing, Dealer Orders and Transfer Orders, Demand Planning, Forecasting, and Warehouse Management. The team is also need to be in alignment to the Sales Applications strategic direction, and IT support and delivery standards.

The Business System Analyst's role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders. This includes leading stakeholders interviews, gathering and compiling user requirements to understand the technology solutions and data they need. The Business System Analyst will facilitate and guide the team with strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions. The Business System Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT's understanding of business requirements

Collaborate with project managers/team managers and business sponsors to determine scope, vision, business objectives, and benefits. Functions as a Lead Business System Analyst on medium to large application development projects.Lead and conduct interviews to gather user requirements, use cases, and scenarios. Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, and comprehensibility. Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements. Where applicable, develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on the user requirements. Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted. Well versed in working with outside vendors on SaaS packages.Lead and coordinate cross functional teams to translate user requirement into functional specification/requirement for developers/project team. Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.Create systems specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to system programmers. Where applicable, propose and help drive business processes, perform analysis of existing applications and access impact of the change to the current system processes and recommend improvements.Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including creating test cases/scenarios, end-user reviews, for modified and new systems. Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systemsAble to triage production isses by identifying which systems, integrations and support teams need to be involved to troubleshoot and remedy.

Position Success Criteria (Desired) - 'WANTS'• IS related Bachelor Degree and/or equivalent work experience• 5 - 7 years of working as a Business System Analyst on mid to large application development projects• 5 - 7 years of relevant IT technical or business work experience

The candidate must display the following technical competencies:• In-depth knowledge of business requirement and corporate priorities.• Advanced ability to gather/refine complex business requirements, recommend or make decisions on business requirements/interdependencies.• Advanced ability to develop complex and compelling business cases. Quickly adapt to changes in business strategy and helps business partners communicate solution value to key stakeholders• Advanced ability to create impact analyses to make recommendations.• Advanced ability to present complex positions and strategies for business decisions, processes and plans.• In-depth knowledge of compliance principles.• In-depth understanding of the business architecture and its relationship to other architectures.• Advanced ability to assess corporate impacts of changes and recommend strategies to senior management.• Ability to drive consensus for a desired future state that meets the business problem and enterprise objectives. Uncover needs business partners and end users would not be able to articulate on their own.• Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to such specifications.• Ability to educate developers on a project's business context and effectively collaborate with geographically distributed teams.• Well versed with system development life cycle concepts, Waterfall and Agile.• Experience with Supply Chain, preferably with Blue Yonder is desired.• Experience in Warehouse Management, Demand Planning and Order Fulfillment• Understanding the functional capabilities of Blue Yonder solutions, designing and delivering business solutions, and ensuring the product meets client needs• Experience with integration techniques (APIs, EDI) and SQL.• Strong desire to learn, grow and create meaningful relationships with project stakeholders.
