Senior Software Engineer Front End

Description

This is a hands-on role where you will write code for product features.

You will work closely with the technical lead,

business development, client services and UX design teams to build intuitive and functional user interfaces.

As a senior technical member of our team, you will guide junior engineers and help develop their technical skills.

The Team

The Account Management Team is responsible for onboarding and managing all Institutional Customers to the Client Business Unit.

It is a full stack squad that maintains the Admin UI, and the back-end APIs used by the UI to fetch and persist data.

The Admin UI is an internal UI used by various Client Business teams such as Account Management, Custody Operations and Settlement Operations.

The Expertise You Have

Expert in Angular, RxJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Familiar with NgRx, Redux, or other state management patterns

Skilled in the use of Testing Frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Karma & Jasmine

Passionate about customer experience and good UX design

Experience working with REST APIs

Experience with automated CI/CD environments

Basic understanding of core Java technologies

Preferred experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker

The Skills You Bring

A solid and strong foundation in software engineering - bachelor's degree + preferred, 4 years' experience

Possess critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutions

Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks

Works well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focus

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time

Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and

deployment pipeline.
