Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ, and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring products provide a meaningful and relevant experience to usersGuide the entirety of the design process through completion by presenting to stakeholders and working alongside the development team to ensure accurate implementation and compliance to enterprise brand and accessibility standardsCreate user-centered, simple and modern designs, which are desirable and efficient multi-channel experiencesWork closely with the users, stakeholders, and Product Owner to develop a cohesive and consistent user experience, and increase user satisfactionCreate innovative solutions that generate significant value for the clientLead/oversee all of the user experience and design aspects of a productAnticipates user needs, advocates for them and ensures the final product delights themIndependently designs and run user research to derive insights and add contextSynthesize the user research data to articulate customer needs, and create tangible solutions for user-centered designFacilitate innovation, design thinking, and design studio workshops to create digital experiencesDevelop concept sketches and storyboards, detailed interaction designs and screen flows, functional specifications, and prototypes to clearly articulate solutionsExpert in the brand and effectively applies the brand to visual designsEnsure that the solution in development aligns to best practices, brand consistency, and standards including accessibilityCollaborate with the development team to ensure designs are feasible to implement and subsequently implemented accurately, and assists with accessibility requirementsLead concept and usability testing and synthesizes the results to validate and improve solution designTrack user experience metrics and reports on the success of improvementsMentor more junior Experience Designers
